Important Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with valid driver’s license
- Valid credit card required even if paying cash
- Card charged one day before arrival for 100% of reservation total
We offer contactless check-in so you can head straight to your room or mobile home without stopping at the front desk.
- All motel rooms and mobile homes feature digital keypads for easy, keyless entry
- On your arrival day, we’ll email your room or unit number along with your personal door code
- Your code becomes active at 3:00 PM — or earlier, if you’re approved for early check-in
- Arrive on your own schedule — no need to wait in line or check in during specific hours
- Check-out is before 11:00 AM for motel rooms and 10:00 AM for mobile homes
Tip: Save the email with your door code so you have it handy on arrival day. If you need assistance, call us at 231-238-9370.
- Card charged one day before arrival for 100% of reservation total
- If card declines, we will make 1 attempt to collect new payment information
- Reservation may be cancelled if unable to process payment
- No refunds for early departures
- 6% sales tax applied to room total
- $150 incidental authorization will be placed in addition to your full stay amount
- Waterway Inn is not responsible for overdraft fees associated with your debit card
- Authorization released upon checkout if guest agreement followed
- Funds typically available within 5-7 business days (at discretion of your financial institution)
Tip: To avoid authorization holds, consider using a credit card instead of a debit card.
Dogs allowed in Standard King room and Dog-Friendly Mobile Home only.
- $20 per dog, per day non-refundable pet fee
- Maximum of two (2) dogs per room
- Pets must be registered to a dog-friendly unit
- Pets prohibited from vehicles or property if not registered to dog-friendly unit
Important: $250 fee per day for pets in non-pet-friendly rooms
Individual Reservations
- 7+ days before arrival: No cancellation fee
- Under 7 days: $20 cancellation fee + 50% of first night
Group Bookings
- 14+ days notice: $20 cancellation fee
- Under 14 days: 25% of total reservation
No-Shows
- 100% of first night will be charged for no-shows
All rooms and mobile homes are 100% smoke-free
- Smoking cigarettes inside: $250 violation fee
- Marijuana not allowed inside rooms or mobile homes: $250 violation fee
- Designated outdoor smoking areas available
- $25 fee if maximum guest count exceeded
- $250 fee for smoking/marijuana violations
- $250 per day for unauthorized pets
- Replacement cost + $50/hour labor for room damage
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the room or property
- Charges include replacement cost plus $50 per hour labor to restore room
- Guests responsible for compensation if actions disturb other guests
- Please report any issues or damages immediately to the front desk
- If rooms or the property are damaged or left extremely dirty during a stay, you will be charged the amount it costs to replace the damaged item(s) plus $50 per hour labor fees to return the room to its original state
- This includes missing or damaged remotes, bedding, towels, windows, TVs, window screens, appliances, fixtures, furniture, doors, lights, mirrors, etc.
- You agree to pay for necessary guest compensation in the event your actions create a disturbance to other guests
